Chicago Bears lineman Nate Davis spent $2.3 million in May to acquire a five-bedroom, 5,537-square-foot property in Highland Park.
A Virginia native who previously played for the Tennessee Titans, Davis inked a three-year, $30 million contract with the Bears in March. He faced injuries in his initial year with the team, which included missing four games later in the season due to a high ankle sprain.
Constructed in 2003 and planned by Evanston architect Michael Hershenson, Davis’ new place boasts five bathrooms, three fireplaces, a kitchen with a butler’s pantry, a family room with built-ins and a wall of windows, as well as a wood-paneled study on the first floor. Other highlights encompass a four-season sunroom with ravine views and a primary suite featuring a second office, a private screened porch, dual custom walk-in closets, and heated floors.
The home's lower level includes a game room, kitchenette, and fitness room.
The residence is situated on a 1.28-acre parcel and can be accessed via a secluded, wooded driveway.
The agent representing Davis, Paul Gorney of eXp Realty, was unavailable for comment.
The property incurred a $52,785 tax bill in 2022.
