A woman who became famous after being lifted in the air by electrical shutters has been honored by a graffiti tribute Banksy would be proud of.
Anne Hughes, 71, was left hanging helplessly after she was picked up by the shutters at Best One Shop in Tonteg, Wales in March.
The store’s cleaner was taken for the unsuspecting ride but her employers saw the humorous side to it all.
They shared the video on their Facebook page with the caption: ‘Don’t hang about like Anne, come down to best one to get the best deals!!! The only thing going up in this shop is our staff, not the prices!!’
The video was viewed by millions, and now the incident has been commemorated in a graffiti tribute.
Speaking from her home near the shop, Anne said: ‘I was just stood there when my coat got caught and up I went. I thought flipping heck!
‘People say it could happen to anyone… no, it could only happen to me! It’s just lucky I’ve got a good sense of humour.’

The surveillance footage shows Anne leaning against the shutters, relaxing and waiting for the store to open.
Before she knows what’s happening, her coat gets trapped in the shutters. As they begin to rise, she tries to unhook herself – to no avail.
Anne is then left precariously hanging for around 12 seconds before the shopkeeper runs out to rescue her.
He holds her head to avoid her hitting the ground and manages to return her to the pavement safely.
The video ends with the shopkeeper unhooking Anne as she stands upright and returns to her day.
