Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has alerted his team about two Manchester United players before the two rivals meet in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Klopp’s team goes to Old Trafford on Sunday and the Red Devils have received an injury boost with in-form striker Rasmus Hojlund set to return.
Hojlund has not played in United’s last three top-flight games due to a muscle issue but Klopp is worried that he could be a threat for their cup clash.
The Denmark international has produced seven goals and two assists in his last six Premier League appearances and will aim to continue his impressive form.
Klopp also believes that United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka could have a big impact if he is fit for the quarter-final.
‘We will try to prepare,’ Klopp said about Sunday’s clash against United. ‘Again we have a situation where we have played Thursday [in the Europa League] and we dealt with it.
‘United have had a full week to prepare. Erik ten Hag knows how to play so he will line up some challenges but we have to be ready anyway.
‘As much as it’s possible, I enjoy [these games]. I don’t know much about their season but I saw some good games, a lot of quality and injury problems.
‘Hojlund is available again. Wan-Bissaka is close. That obviously makes a difference, we will see on Sunday.
‘It was always a tough place to go, it means everything to both fan groups, we know that. We try to show that on the pitch with the work rate but we never know. No guarantees, just opportunities, we will give it a try.’
