Liverpool and West Ham are in the selection for the Europa League quarter-final draw on Friday.
Jurgen Klopp’s team easily defeated Sparta Prague with a 6-1 victory at Anfield on Thursday evening, securing an 11-2 win on aggregate, solidifying their status as one of the top contenders to win the tournament.
Meanwhile, last season’s Europa Conference League winners West Ham also showcased an impressive performance at home with a 5-0 win against Freiburg.
Elsewhere, Benfica narrowly beat Rangers with a 1-0 victory at Ibrox, and AC Milan secured their spot in the Europa League quarter final by eliminating Slavia Prague.
Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen launched a late comeback against Qarabag FK to make it to the Europa League quarter finals, while both Atalanta and Marseille are also in Friday’s draw.
Roma were defeated in the return leg by Brighton but they advance 4-1 on aggregate.
At this stage of the competition, there are no restrictions for the draw, meaning that teams from the same country could face each other in the quarter final.
When is the Europa League quarter-final draw?
The draw happens on Friday March 15 at midday UK time at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
In addition to the quarter-final, drawings for the semi-final and final will also take place.

The draw will be shown live in the UK on TNT Sports 1 as well as on their YouTube channel.

When are the Europa League quarter-finals, semi-finals and final?
The Europa League quarter-final first legs will be played on April 11, and the second legs will be played on April 18.
The semi-final first legs will be played on May 2, and the second legs will be played on May 9.
The final will be played on May 22 at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
