Manchester United A group of Manchester United employees is suing the club for 'up to £100,000' because the club accidentally sent out individual wage slips to 167 employees.
The wage slips contained sensitive details like the employee’s address, National Insurance number, earnings, pensions benefits and tax contributions.

The error occurred on 9 March 2018, and the employees have filed a compensation claim that could be worth up to £100,000. High Court A spokesman for Manchester United stated: 'We take the data privacy of our employees very seriously and regret this isolated incident, which occurred in 2018.'
'Measures were put in place to prevent it from happening again, and we informed the Information Commissioner’s Office, which took no further action,' the spokesman added.
Jonathan Whittle, from the legal firm Your Lawyers, representing 32 claimants, said to The Sun: 'The club’s billionaire owners should take responsibility for this error.'
