First lady Jill Biden is collaborating with singer Christina Aguilera in a social media post urging people to support abortion rights during the upcoming elections. encouraging voters to back abortion rights in the upcoming elections.
“It was surprising and upsetting. From one state to another, laws against abortion took effect, endangering the well-being and lives of women nationwide,” Biden mentioned, referring to the 2022 Supreme Court ruling that declared abortion is not constitutionally protected.

Aguilera argued that women and their doctors, not politicians, should make reproductive health care decisions.
“I will not allow my daughter to live in a world where politicians dictate decisions about her body,” the singer stated.
The message is delivered as the Biden-Harris re-election campaign gears up to confront former President Trump in November. Trump has claimed credit for reversing Roe v. Wade, a major focus of President Biden's campaign.
