Kebab shop owner and social media star Mohamed Henni is facing a lawsuit from Kylian Mbappe for including the Paris Paris Saint-Germain player’s name in the description of a dish.
ESPN It is reported that Henni’s Klüb kebab is described as being made with a “baker round bread, as round as Mbappe’s skull’ and the France captain is not happy about it.
The entrepreneur in Marseille received a letter from Mbappe’s lawyer, Delphine Verheyden, instructing him to remove the PSG striker’s name from the menu.
Henni has been given eight days to comply or he will be taken to court for using Mbappe’s name for commercial purposes without consent.
Henni expressed surprise at the reaction and addressed Mbappe through Instagram account, which has 1.8m followers.
‘Are you not ashamed?’ Henni asked. ‘You have nothing else to do? Suing me for something so trivial? It is incredible. I can’t believe it!’
The influencer also posted a picture of the legal letter with the caption: ‘Mbappe is suing me.’
He added: ‘I didn’t think a player at this level had the time to think about me. He took time and money to attack me. I’m not hurting anyone, I do humour.’
Mbappe’s PSG side will be in Friday’s draw for the Champions Legaue quarter-finals after comfortably beating Real Sociedad 4-1 over two legs.
They are joined by Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid, with two more teams putting their names in the hat on Wednesday night.
Inter Milan go to Atletico Madrid after winning 1-0 in Italy, with Borussia Dortmund hosting PSV after a 1-1 draw in Eindhoven.
