An Interior Design Masters participant caused controversy by hanging a 'blasphemous' photo in the room they were renovating.
Anthony, a former musical theater actor, was one of the new group of aspiring interior designers assigned to redecorate a bedroom in Norfolk B&B when the BBC show hosted by Alan Carr returned on Tuesday.
However, the Liverpudlian's choice to decorate the room with a large photo of a nun smoking in a building that used to be a convent shocked judge Michelle Ogundehin.
The magazine editor scolded Anthony, warning him that he was almost evicted over the black and white poster, which she criticized as 'inappropriate.'
Some X viewers sided with Michelle, with account Trout Pout agreeing: 'Yikes, bestie.'
AJ, on the other hand, couldn't resist a little dig and described the photo as 'a bit B&M.'
Mark also saw the lighter side and joked: 'Obsessed with poor Anthony getting a b*****king for his “offensive” poster, when only 20 minutes ago him & Alan were cackling over it in the garden.'
However, some endorsed Anthony's design choice, with Kelli exclaiming: 'I like the “blasphemous” nun!'
Anthony first revealed the black and white in the hotel garden, admitting that it 'could be a little bit controversial.'
'But it's totally my design style: it's bold, it creates an opinion and it should be good,' he continued.
However, he may have not got the reaction he hoped for when Alan, 47, approached and immediately gasped upon looking at the photo.
Alan blurted out: 'What is this? Isn't that sacrilegious? We're in a convent!'
Anthony acknowledged the photo was a 'bit of a risk' but ultimately stuck to his guns.
However, during the elimination, Anthony was scolded by Michelle for failing to grasp the 'context.'
She fumed: 'I have to tell you you were one step away from the sofa for the photo that you used on the wardrobe.
'This was a former covent gifted by nuns to the charity; being appropriate and context is everything.'
Anthony took her criticism in his stride and replied: 'Sure, I get that. I'm here to learn week on week.'
Despite the telling off, Anthony sailed through to the next round with Sheree becoming the first designer to be sent home.
This year, the winner of Interior Design Masters will get the opportunity to release a product line with La Redoute.
Interior Design Masters continues on Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
