Actors Adam Devine and Chloe Bridges have had their first baby.
Adam is famous for funny TV shows Workaholics and Modern Family and also comedy movies like Pitch Perfect, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and Game Over Man, while Chloe appeared in Disney’s Camp Rock 2 and The Final Girls.
The couple announced last October that they were going to have a baby, and have now said they have had a son.
Adam shared several photos of the new family-of-three on Instagram, all close together in a hospital bed as they held the new addition.
And in true Adam fashion, while one of the snaps were of the couple smiling, most were of them all making faces.
He wrote in a caption alongside the photos, revealing their son’s name: ‘Meet lil baby Beau Devine!
‘He can be fussy at times but we’ve already learned some great parenting techniques. Do your best fussy baby impression along with him and he’ll straighten right out.’
Hundreds came to the comments to give good wishes to the new parents, with Adam’s Workaholics co-star Blake Anderson writing, alongside a series of heart emojis: ‘Theeeere he is!’
And Modern Family star Sarah Hyland gave an epic throwback to Adam’s character on the TV show, writing ‘from manny to daddy!’
Blink 182 musician Mark Hoppus joked ‘this is such a bummer! Congrats,’ and one fan spoke for countless people when he wrote ‘I don’t know you personally at all but … it make me feel like one of my buddies just had a baby that I’ve been friends with forever.’
Adam and Chloe shared the news they were expecting in October, with photos of the actress’ growing bump.
And, true to form as always, Adam posed alongside her holding his own stomach, writing: ‘Look we’re pregnant! Well, I’m just fat now but Chloe is all preggo with a human baby! Obviously, very exciting stuff!’
He joked: ‘This will mostly be a baby page now, as I will be dedicating my life to my child in hopes he doesn’t use my decades of recorded dirty jokes against me.’
Fans and famous friends were among those cheering the news in the comments section, with Rebel Wilson writing: ‘Such amazing news, Congrats A & Chloe!’
Chloe also confirmed the news on her own page, with a selection of glowing pictures, and declared they ‘can’t wait to get this lil family started.’
The couple first met on the set of The Final Girls in 2014, and since then Chloe has starred in many films Adam has worked on, including Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and Game Over, Man.
They became engaged in 2019 and got married in a small ceremony in 2021, with Adam’s Workaholics co-stars Blake, Erik Griffin and Anders Holm among those attending.
