Chicago Cubs player Ian Happ paid $3.09 million in December for a 3,395-square-foot apartment in a newly built, 16-story luxury condo complex in the West Loop.

The real estate agent who helped Happ with his purchase, Nancy Tassone, chose not to comment on the transaction.
The condo has a $937 monthly homeowners association fee, in addition to unspecified property taxes.
